Membership Terms, Policies & Code of Conduct – Summary

1. Membership & Academy Policies

  • Divinity Soccer Academy (DSA) reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel membership when necessary, including for serious misconduct.

  • DSA has zero tolerance for violent, abusive, threatening, or aggressive behavior by players, parents, members, or supporters.

  • Soccer is a contact sport, and injuries or incidents may occur. DSA will make reasonable efforts to provide a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment.

  • Members may request to leave the Academy at any time.

  • DSA operates year-round, except during Christmas/New Year closures and when severe weather or other circumstances require closure.

  • Membership may be frozen for qualifying emergencies, medical reasons, or extended vacations. Requests must be submitted by email.

  • If a player does not attend for more than four consecutive weeks without an approved reason, DSA may cancel the membership.

2. Player Placement & Scheduling

  • Coaches determine player placement according to age, ability, development, and skill level.

  • DSA reserves the right to modify training dates, cancel sessions, or change training locations when necessary.

  • Training sessions are primarily closed sessions for registered players and approved family/guardians or guests.

  • Unauthorized photography or video recording during training sessions is prohibited.

  • DSA materials and resources may not be copied, distributed, or used commercially without permission.

  • Training and games are conducted in English.

3. Enrollment Requirements

Enrollment is completed after:

  • Acceptance of DSA’s terms and conditions.

  • Completion of the registration form.

  • Payment of the registration fee.

  • Payment for the applicable season/term.

  • Submission of a certified physical examination report within 30 days of registration.

4. Medical & Safety Requirements

  • Parents/guardians must disclose all relevant medical conditions or special needs before participation.

  • DSA provides competitive group soccer training; coaches are not medical professionals or specialists in individualized special-needs care.

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for determining whether their child is medically fit to participate in contact soccer.

  • The safety and well-being of every player is a priority.

5. Payments

  • Monthly or annual payments are processed through DSA’s secured online payment system.

  • Monthly fees remain due whether or not a player attends, except for approved medical circumstances with appropriate documentation.

  • A $10 late fee may be added to overdue payments.

  • No Pay = No Play: Players may not participate in training or matches while their account remains unpaid.

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days, subject to DSA’s refund policy.

6. Training-Day Requirements

  • Players must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled session.

  • Parents/guardians must remain responsible for their child before and after the training session.

  • Parents/guardians must properly check their child in and pick them up from the designated training area.

  • DSA is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings.

  • Players should clearly label personal items, including training jackets.

7. Required Uniform & Equipment

Players must arrive properly prepared with:

  • Academy jacket

  • Soccer shirt

  • Shorts

  • Shin guards

  • Soccer socks

  • Soccer boots

  • Appropriate protective eyewear when recommended

Players must wear appropriate equipment to help reduce the risk of injury.

8. Players’ Code of Conduct

Players are expected to:

  • Attend scheduled seasons and training sessions.

  • Arrive prepared and properly dressed.

  • Listen to and respect coaches.

  • Work hard and demonstrate commitment.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and continue developing their skills.

  • Follow coaching instructions, including position assignments.

  • Demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect toward teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents.

9. Parents’ Code of Conduct

Parents/guardians must:

  • Respect coaches, referees, officials, players, and other families.

  • Avoid arguments, shouting, or inappropriate behavior.

  • Set a positive example for their children.

  • Allow coaches to coach and focus on player development rather than only winning.

  • Encourage and support their child positively.

  • Remain present during training and matches as required.

  • Not consume alcohol, smoke, or use illegal/contraband drugs during Academy activities, training sessions, or tournaments.

10. Photography, Video & Social Media

DSA may take photographs and short video clips during training sessions, tournaments, and matches for Academy promotional purposes, including newsletters, flyers, social media, and the Academy website, subject to the applicable consent provided during registration.

11. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, parents/guardians agree to protect and hold DSA and its officers, directors, owners, managers, employees, agents, representatives, and assigns harmless from eligible claims, costs, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from a breach of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

DSA reserves the right to update or modify its policies and terms when necessary. Updated terms become effective upon being properly posted or communicated by the Academy.

Parent/Guardian Acknowledgment

By registering a player with Divinity Soccer Academy, the parent/guardian acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the Academy’s membership policies, payment requirements, safety rules, and Players’ and Parents’ Codes of Conduct.
